Anthony Gay
In 2012, after identifying the dangers associated with the way young people were abusing and consuming social media and technology, Anthony approached his co-founders about founding Welcome 2 Reality LLC, where he serves as the Director of Curricula Development.
In this role, Anthony has developed and implemented a diverse range of impactful training programs and curriculums. Anthony’s innovative approach to curriculum design reflects a deep understanding of educational principles and instructional methodologies. Anthony diligently conducts research on various topics and collaborates with a range of stakeholders, including subject matter experts, educators, and administrators. As a result, Anthony develop captivating and effective educational materials that foster the desired learning experience across all offerings provided by Welcome 2 Reality. Leveraging his extensive training experience and profound understanding of educational principles and instructional design methodologies, Anthony ensures that the curricula he creates aligns with Welcome 2 Reality’s vision, mission, and educational objectives.
Identifying Gaps
Anthony has been able to identify gaps in different subject areas through assessment and research, and then provide relevant trainings to enhance practices, policies, and introduce new initiatives.
Anthony Gay is a highly accomplished professional dedicated to fostering positive change and empowerment in various capacities. Anthony also has a background in Human Services dating back to 1998. As an Adjunct Professor, Anthony played a pivotal role in shaping young minds, teaching courses such as College Success Seminar and Civility 101.
Anthony’s commitment to community and social services extends to non-profits to local and state municipalities. Anthony provides leadership, designs programs, and serves as a public face for fatherhood advocacy nationally. Anthony continues to promote positive father involvement, curriculum development, training, program management, policy development, and is a partner in statewide (CT) and national fatherhood councils.
Anthony has held several significant roles in child welfare, supervising various units and at the Directors level. His expertise spans case management, training, supervision, consistently demonstrating a commitment to the safety and well-being of children and families.
Anthony has also made notable contributions to the field through presentations at conferences, addressing topics such as engaging fathers in Child Protective Services, internet safety, and cyberbullying. His dedication and leadership have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Humanitarian Award, Fatherhood Regional Leadership Award, and the Ebenezer D Bassett Humanitarian Award. Anthony currently serves on several boards, committees, and initiatives, leaving an indelible mark in the field of human services and community development. Anthony facilitates trainings, consultations, lectures nationally and is available for keynote presentation opportunities.
